Work Should Always be Enjoyed

Somebody once said that work is the father of success and integrity is the mother. If you can get along with these two members of the family, the rest of the family will be easy to deal with. However, too many people make enough effort to get along with the father and leave the mother out completely. What's the essence of the parable? I'm saying that lots of us work very hard but have very little integrity to accompany it. Some of us even quit looking for work as soon as they find a job.
Work is very important. As soon as Adam was created, yes, he had everything, yet, he was placed in the garden of Eden to till it. That is, he was given work. Even if we have something that is giving us money and we're comfortable, for your sanity's sake, you still need to get work!!!
Many people's concept of work is that it should be fun and meaningful, or we shouldn't have to do it. I'm convinced that the sheer love of work, with all its rewards, should provide enormous satisfaction. A very wise man once said, "works give you an appetite for your meals;it lends solidity to your slumber; it gives you a perfect appreciation of a holiday". The truth is we all need work.
True, work can be tedious, very tedious. If Adam was tending a garden, he would need to do some tedious work. Some aspects would be quite tedious. Same with every other person. There would be constant deadlines and occasional canceled or delayed flights or, for some of us, long hours in traffic jams, for example. These things aren't fun and meaningful, but they are part of the whole package of work. What then should be our response? Sit back, relax and enjoy the 'non-fun' part of work. How? If you're stuck in traffic jam, take time to do more research on how to be a person on your job.
Voltaire said that work keeps us from three great evils:
boredom, vice and poverty. With that concept in mind, we can look at the benefits and understand that when working, you don't pay the price, you enjoy the benefits. Thomas Edison said, " There is no substitute for hard work. Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety nine percent perspiration". Samuel Goldwyn said, "the harder I work, the luckier I get". Pope John Paul said, " All life demands struggle. Those who have everything given to them become lazy, selfish, and insensitive to the real values of life. The very striving and hard work that we so constantly try to avoid is the major building block in the person we are today." Even Apostle Paul of the Bible said, "he that does not work must not eat". Benjamin Franklin puts it this way: " The used key is always bright". It is better to wear out than to rust out.
All these plenty quotes I'm giving you is aimed at one thing: unless you work, you will miss out on many of the joys and benefits of life itself. So concentrate on the things you like about your job and its benefits. Give your job that extra burst of energy you always have the day before vacation. Not only will you enjoy work more, but also raise and praise will both come your way, if you know what I mean.
But wait o, don't  overwork yourself. That's why there is something called vacation. Remember that the man who is always busy as a bee might awaken to discover that someone has swiped all his money from his honeycomb.
The boy in the middle has found the benefits of work. Find yours too!!!
